# Deposit Funds

### Fund Matrix Wallet

For your first deposit, open ![](/files/Om14yzCeNIALlKfPxsCs) Assets from the bottom navigation and select Wallet.

Tap ⤓ Deposit, then choose the token and network you want to use. Matrix will display your wallet address and QR code.

Copy the address or scan the QR code to send funds from another wallet or exchange.

On supported networks, use Get Gas to swap USDC for the native token required to pay network fees.

### Choose a Deposit Method

After funding Matrix Wallet, select Perps or Predictions on the Assets page and tap ⤓ Deposit and choose one of the available methods:

* External: send funds directly from another wallet or exchange
* Matrix Wallet: use funds already held in your Matrix wallet

### Deposit From Matrix Wallet

Select Matrix Wallet, choose a token, and enter the amount you want to deposit. Review the transaction details, then confirm deposit using button on the bottom of screen.

### Deposit From an External Wallet

Select External, then choose the token and network you want to use. Matrix will display a deposit address ad QR code. Copy address or scan QR code from the wallet or exchange you are sending from.

### Deposit to Linked Accounts

Linked account handle deposits differently:

* Hyperliquid: manage deposits through Hyperliquid using master wallet. The updated balance will appear in Matrix.
* Kodiak Perps: fund the linked account directly through Kodiak Perps, or deposit into the Matrix account under Kodiak Perps and then use Transfer between Perps accounts.
