# Overview
Trading availability varies by region and venue. See [Regional Restrictions](/getting-started/regional-restrictions.md) for more information.
### Open Perps
Tap  Perps in the bottom navigation. Matrix opens the market you viewed most recently, or BTC by default.
You can also open Markets, select Perps, and choose a market from the list.
### Choose a Perps Account
Tap on account switcher in the top of the screen and choose Perps account you want to use. Each account uses either Hyperliquid or Kodiak Perps, so selecting an account also selects its venue.
The selected account and venue determine the available markets, balance, positions and orders.

### Switch Between Chart and Trade
Use switcher in the top-right corner to change views:
*  Chart: review the market chart, overview, trading data, order book and recent trades.
*  Trade: place an order and review positions, pending orders and other Perps activity for the selected account.
