# Orders
### Open the Trade View
Open  Perps from the bottom navigation and select the market you want to trade.
Use the switcher in the top-right corner to select  Trade. From the  Chart screen, you can also tap Buy or Sell to open Trade with that side selected.
### Choose an Order Type
Tap the current order type to choose another:
* Market: places an order at the best available price
* Limit: places an order at your selected price or better
* Stop Market: places a Market order when the trigger price is reached
* Stop Limit: places a Limit order when the trigger price is reached
* Scaled: distributes multiple orders across a price range
Hyperliquid also supports TWAP, which splits an order into smaller orders over a selected period.
Kodiak Perps also supports Trailing Stop, which follows the market by a selected amount or percentage until triggered.
### Complete the Order
Enter the required price and order size. Tap the asset shown in the size field to switch between entering a quantity and an order value.
You can also use the slider to select a percentage of your available balance.
For Limit and Stop Limit orders, tap a price in the order book to fill the price and quantity fields.

### Limit Order Options
Limit orders include optional execution settings:
* Post-Only: adds the order to the order book only if it does not match immediately
* IOC (Immediate-or-Cancel): fills as much as possible immediately and cancels the remainder
* FOK (Fill-or-Kill): fills the entire order immediately or cancels it
FOK is available for Kodiak Perps only.
### TP/SL
TP/SL is available for Market and Limit orders.
Select TP/SL below the order summary, then enter a take-profit price, stop-loss price or both. You can set the profit target and loss limit using PnL, Offset or Offset**%**. Tap Done to return to the order form.
### Reduce-Only
Select Reduce-Only below the order summary when the order should only reduce an existing position.
Reduce-Only cannot be used together with TP/SL. Enabling it removes any TP/SL settings added to the order.
### Place Advanced Orders
For a Scaled order, enter the start and end prices, total number of orders and combined order size. Choose Flat, Asc, Desc or Custom to control how the size is distributed across the price range.
* Flat: equal size at every price level
* Asc: larger orders closer to end price
* Desc: larger order closer to start price
* Custom: set the size of the last order relative to the first using the Skew Ratio
For a Hyperliquid TWAP order, enter the total size and choose a running time between 5 minutes and 24 hours. Enable Randomize to vary the timing of the individual orders.
For a Kodiak Perps Trailing Stop, optionally enter an activation price, then set a Trail Value or Trail Rate.
### Submit the Order
Check the order details shown in the form, then tap Buy \[asset] or Sell \[asset].
If Enable Trading appears instead, complete the account setup before placing your first order.
### Place a Quick Order
From the  Chart screen, tap the + button in the action bar at the bottom of the screen to open Quick order.
Choose Buy or Sell, then select Market or Limit. Enter the quantity or use the slider to select a percentage of your available balance.
For a Limit order, enter a price or tap Mid to use the current midpoint price.
Tap the settings icon to change the margin mode, leverage, fill alerts or liquidation alerts for the current market.
### Manage Active Orders
You can manage active orders from the  Trade screen or from  Assets → Perps.
On the Trade screen, scroll below the order form. From Assets, select Perps and scroll to the activity tabs.
