# Manage Your Bot
### Open Bot Controls
Open  Perps from the bottom navigation, tap  Bots in the top-right corner. Select My bots, then open the bot you want to manage.
The available actions appear at the bottom of the bot details page. Pause, Resume and Stop are shown only for bots you deployed in Matrix.
### Pause or Resume a Bot
When the bot is running, tap Pause. Once the bot is paused, Resume replaces Pause.
Tap Resume to continue running the bot with its existing configuration.
### Stop a Bot
Tap Stop, then choose what should happen to the bot’s open position:
* Keep position**:** stops the bot and leaves the position open in the Perps account
* Close position**:** stops the bot and closes its open position
A stopped bot cannot be resumed. To deploy another bot with the same configuration, use Copy.
### Copy a Bot
Tap Copy to open the Deploy Perp Bot form with the bot’s market and grid settings filled in.
The new bot uses the Perps account currently selected in Matrix. Review the account and configuration, make any required changes and tap Deploy Bot.
### Bots Deployed Outside Matrix
A bot deployed outside Matrix may appear when it uses a linked Perps account. You can review the bot in Matrix, but Pause, Resume and Stop are not available.
Tap the external-link icon to open the bot in the web dashboard. You can also use Copy to create a new bot in Matrix with the same configuration.
