# Connect Trading Venues

Connect an existing account to use it inside Matrix.

Matrix currently supports linking Hyperliquid and Kodiak Perps accounts.

This step is optional. If you are new to Matrix, you can continue with the wallet created during sign-up and connect a trading account later.

### Open the Venue Switcher

Click the venue switcher near the of the app. This guige shows the process from Home.

On Home and Assets, the switcher shows an overview of both your Perps and Predictions accounts. Product-specific screens open directly to the accounts for the product you are viewing.

To add a new connection, choose either `Link Hyperliquid` or `Link Kodiak Perps.`

### Generate a Connection Code

After choosing venue in Matrix, open the matching venue on desktop and sign in.

### Link Account in Matrix

Return to Matrix and choose the method that works best for you:

* QR code:  scan the code shown in the venue;
* Link: copy the connection link and paste it into Matrix;
* Manual entry: enter the linking credentials manually in Matrix

### Use Linked Account

Once linked, the account will appear in the venue switcher. Use this switcher to choose which venue or linked account to trade with.
