# Notifications
### Open Notifications
Open  Home from the bottom navigation and tap the  bell icon in the top-right corner. The badge on the icon shows the number of unread notifications.
From the Notifications screen, tap the settings icon in the top-right corner to manage notification preferences. You can also open it from the profile screen by selecting Notification Settings.
Opening Notifications marks your inbox notifications as read and clears the unread badge.
### Review Notifications
Use the tabs at the top of the screen to filter your notifications:
* All
* Announcements
* System Notifications
* Latest Events
* Price Alerts
* App Updates
### Delete Notifications
Tap the clear icon in the top-right corner of the Notifications screen, then tap Delete all to confirm.
This removes notifications from your inbox. Announcements and App Updates are not deleted.
### Manage General Notifications
From the Notifications screen, tap the settings icon in the top-right corner, then select Notification Settings.
Use Permissions to open your device notification settings. Turn Push Notifications on or off to control alerts delivered while Matrix is closed or running in the background.
Use Liquidation Alerts to control the in-app alert shown when one of your positions is liquidated.
### Manage Event Notifications
From Notification Settings, select Events, then use the Push switch to turn event notifications on or off.
Push notifications must be enabled before event notifications can be turned on.
### Set and Manage Price Alerts
Select Market Updates on the Notifications screen to review notifications triggered by your price alerts.
If no notifications are shown, tap Set Price Alert. You can also tap the settings icon, select Market Updates → Manage Price Alerts, then tap the **+** button.
Select a supported Perps market and choose an alert type:
* Spike / Plunge**:** choose a percentage from 1% to 5%. Matrix sends repeated alerts when the market’s five-minute volatility reaches that percentage. Tap Subscribe.
* Price Level**:** enter a target price or set a percentage change from the current price. Tap Set Alert. This alert triggers once when the target is reached.
Select All Alerts in the top-right corner to review alerts across your Perps markets. Tap the delete icon beside an alert to remove it.
Use the Price Alerts switch under Market Updates to turn push notifications for these alerts on or off. Push Notifications must be enabled before Price Alerts can be turned on.
