# API Management
### Open API Management
Select the Perps account you want to manage from the account switcher.
Open  Home from the bottom navigation and tap the  profile icon in the top-left corner. From the profile screen, select API Management.
Available actions depend on the selected account:
* A Matrix Hyperliquid account supports creating and revoking agents.
* A linked Hyperliquid account allows you to review the imported agent or disconnect it from Matrix. Agent approvals remain managed on app.hyperliquid.xyz.
* Kodiak Perps supports API key management for both Matrix and linked accounts.
### Create an Agent for Your Matrix Hyperliquid Account
With your Matrix Hyperliquid account selected, API Management shows your Master Address and approved agents.
Tap Create Agent, enter a name of up to 16 characters and confirm the creation.
The confirmation screen shows the master address, agent address, private key, name and expiration date. Copy each value individually or tap Copy Export Payload to copy the credentials as JSON.

### Manage Matrix Hyperliquid Agents
Under Approved Agents, select an agent to review its address, status, permissions and expiration date.
Tap Revoke Agent to remove its approval from Hyperliquid. Revoking the agent marked Current stops Hyperliquid trading in Matrix until you create a new agent. Revoking another agent stops integrations using its private key.
If the current agent expires or has already been revoked, Matrix prompts you to create a new one.
### Manage a Linked Hyperliquid Agent
With a linked Hyperliquid account selected, API Management shows only the agent imported when the account was connected to Matrix.
Select the agent to review its address, status, permissions and expiration date. Tap Remove Linked Agent to disconnect it from Matrix. Removing the linked agent does not revoke its approval on Hyperliquid. Agent approvals must be managed on app.hyperliquid.xyz.
If the imported agent expires or is revoked, API Management displays an alert.
### Review Kodiak Perps API Keys
With a Kodiak Perps account selected, the top of the screen shows its Account ID and User ID. Tap the copy icon beside either value to copy it.
Under Your API Keys, each key shows its permissions, status and expiration date. A key marked Current is the one Matrix currently uses for the selected account.
API key management is available for both Matrix and linked Kodiak Perps accounts.
### Create a Kodiak Perps API Key
Tap Create API Key, then choose its permissions:
* Read**:** view account information, positions and orders
* Trading**:** place, modify and cancel orders
At least one permission must be selected.
To restrict the key to specific IP addresses, enter one or more IPv4 addresses separated by commas. Leave the field empty to allow connections from any IP address.
Tap Create API Key to continue. Copy the secret key before closing the confirmation screen. You can copy the API key from API Management later.

The secret key is shown only once. Matrix cannot display it again after you close the screen.

### Manage a Kodiak Perps API Key
Select a key to review its status, permissions, expiration date and IP restrictions.
Tap the edit icon beside IP Restrictions to update the allowed addresses. Clear the field to allow connections from any IP address.
To remove the key, tap Delete API Key and confirm the deletion.
Deleting the key marked Current disables trading for that account in Matrix. Complete the account setup again or reconnect the linked account before placing another trade.
