# What is Matrix?

Trading across Web3 is fragmented. The market you want may be on one venue, your collateral on another, and your positions spread across several accounts. Perpetual futures and prediction markets are often treated as separate products, even though both let you act on a view of what happens next.

Matrix brings them together.

With Matrix, you can discover markets, trade, and manage your activity across supported venues.

### Perps and Predictions, Together

Perps let you take long or short exposure to an asset's price without buying the asset itself. Predictions let you trade positions tied to possible event outcomes.

With both available in Matrix, you can move between perps and prediction markets through one consistent experience.

### One Place to Manage It All

Matrix gives you one place to follow your balances, orders, positions, and history. From the same interface, you can move funds through the available deposit, transfer, and withdrawal routes. You can trade with accounts created through Matrix or link supported existing Perps accounts.

For automated Perps trading, Matrix offers Perp Bots. Each bot runs a grid strategy by managing orders within a price range and parameters you define, while its activity remains visible alongside the rest of your activity.

Rather than operating one shared market, Matrix connects you to supported trading venues. Each venue continues to provide its own markets, liquidity, execution, and account rules.
